We are excited to announce that Impellam Group has been awarded a Silver Award from the Armed Forces Covenant, acknowledging the hard work our team put into making sure that we provide a nurturing workplace for both veterans, and reserves who are still in service, as well as their families.
IM Military, Impellam’s dedicated employee-led Business Resource Group for veterans, organized the initial signing of the Armed Forces Covenant. This commitment enabled us to demonstrate our ongoing support for veterans and reservists both internally and for our clients across various sectors.
At Guidant Global, powered by Impellam Group, our inclusive culture based on trust is key to our success. We embrace diversity both within our organization and beyond, ensuring everyone feels accepted without judgement, regardless of their background or beliefs. We aim to further these initiatives and enhance our support for those from the defense sector.
In essence, it is a commitment from the company to guarantee that individuals who serve or have served in the military, as well as their families (collectively referred to as the armed forces community), receive fair treatment.
By signing the covenant, a business pledges to support the armed forces community and acknowledges the significant contributions of service members, veterans, and military families to the organization and its communities.
The Armed Forces Covenant currently has signatories from a range of sectors including global corporations, NHS trusts, charities, schools and universities, police forces, and SMEs. For all these businesses, it is a commitment to making sure that no member of the armed forces community suffers a commercial disadvantage because of their service.
